Winter Break 2012
I decided to post a food gallery of the standout dishes during my winter break in Washington D.C. Each dishes triggers a certain memory I will be holding on to way too tightly till summertime. Enjoy!
Chop’t for lunch! A best friend kind of day. The new Bethesda location is sooo convenient.
Tasty Thai with the best friends. This Tom Ka Gai wasn’t the best, but it was still just what I needed in the DC cold.
The BEST bocarones I’ve ever had from Jaleo. I split them up bit by bit and savored each salty, smooth bite. Maybe my favorite thing Kevin and I have in common…our unwavering love of anchovies (kidding, mostly).
After some anchovies…more anchovies! With an anchovy paste dressing. Ah.
How beautiful are these patatas bravas!
Beef cheeks from Jaleo that were surprisingly my favorite thing we ordered (besides the anchovies of course).
Ceviche at Dino for my last dinner with Kevin. I’m known for my slow eating, but I ate almost all of this in fifteen seconds.
